Awesome squeal!! Can't wait for the next one. Imagine stepping back into the 18th century after partying at the local frat. This is the situation Reese finds herself in. Not only does Jules keep you wound up (okay at times frustrated) on the romance side, but also she does an excellent job explaining the other realmness of the story is very easy to follow!! And now a bit about the story...After Elena and Derek successfully cure the virus attacking the Fae of Tirnan, the evil queen acts quickly to strike back. Reese has been kidnapped and Keen is on a mission to find her. But to save her, he has to make a deal with the devil! He continues to try and ignore his feelings for Reece, but at times slips... which confuses her into a coil of nerves and wreaks havoc on her confidence. But she is a survivor and plans to win this battle, no sacrifice is too great.

Loved it... fresh and exciting... ☺️
Sometimes book 2 is less interesting than Book 1; but, in this case the new focus on different people was a welcome addition. Good plot, well-written, not a lot of distractions in the story. Overall A+. I already ordered book #3.
It was very well written and I like the story line I would like to see where the author is going to take the story line next with the next books

OMG!!! This series is so fresh, engaging, and filled with unbridled passion!!! It was so hard to put down, but schoolwork comes first!!! Of course we all need sleep and to work, so books and eyes close at the end of the day!!! God bless and keep on writing so we can enjoy and imagine!

Despite a few repetitive descriptions and inner monologue throughout the story, and a few inconsistencies, the plot and the characters kept me entertained.
I liked how Jules balanced the Young Adult characters with the adult themes they faced in the Fae World. I also liked how Jules didn't back down from showing action as well as sex, because come on, eighteen year olds know about sex, a lot have had it, and most would definitely benefit from reading about romantic sex that's done between two people who deeply care about each other. Plus, this is a fantasy world and young adults are smart enough to realize that, so I applaud Jules Barnard for not holding back and being real.
And Reese is a wonderful female character who shows how an eighteen year old would handle the serious topics in this fantasy world while still remaining true to herself and learning to grow.
Reese Fisher wasn’t going to stay at home on her eighteenth birthday. Instead of celebrating at a fraternity party, she finds herself imprisoned in a New Kingdom dungeon surrounded by Fae.
They claim that she’s a Halven of royal blood and that she’s now a pawn in the struggle for control of both the New and Old Kingdoms. And the one Fae that can insure her safety is none other than her roommate’s arrogant bodyguard – Keen.
Keen Albrecht is sent to find the missing Reese and discovers her half alive in the Fae realm. To save her life, he’s forced to swear loyalty to the evil Portia.
Keeping Reese safe is all that matters to him and his feelings for her now go far beyond anything that he ever expected. As a battle between the Kingdoms grows ever closer, he will do anything to ensure her survival – even pledge to marry another.
They may all come out of this victorious, but the biggest casualty will be his heart.
Lately, I have developed a weakness for exceptional paranormal romance and Fates Entwined totally fit the bill! Not only does it have a healthy dose of the required magic and adventure, it also packs enough sexual tension and angst to seduce any hardcore romance reader.
Jules’ complex characters and her fast paced storyline literally held me spellbound from beginning to end – and now I secretly want to be a Halven myself…
